The BHS Progressive Riding Test (PRT) series
is for anyone wanting to set a goal or challenge for themselves to progress their skills and is suitable for all levels or horse riders/owners.
It is a practical course, which can be held at your livery yard with your own horse or one that you have access to.
All six tests (5 for the Junior PRT series) have riding and stable management sections and all of these can be taken seperately. Each section has a number of elements that need to be signed off by the instructor as you are ready to be assessed. On passing all sections of the Progressive Riding Test series, you will have the equivalent to your BHS Stage 1 and will be able to progress on to achieving your BHS Stage 2 should you wish to continue learning.

BHS Junior Progressive Riding Test Series (1-5): £135 per test per person (includes individual/final certificates) or £35 per coaching session per person
BHS Adult Progressive Riding Test Series (1-6): £145 per test per person (includes individual/final certificates or £45 per coaching session per person
