Our First Podcast is here!

Greetings all,

I hope you have been keeping well and safe during these strange and uncertain times.

As lockdown is easing for us here in the UK, I am slowly but surely getting back to coaching and training...I've missed it so much!

But I've been far from idle during the last three months, and this 'downtime' has given me much reason to reflect, re-evaluate, appreciate and plan for future times. I was able to deliver some short online courses for pony-enthusiastic children and have been coaching my clients via Zoom session. And one of my clients started studying towards her BHS Progressive Riding Tests during that time, completing 4 of the 6 levels for the theory-based Stable Management elements of the tests. What an achievement already! Now that lessons are slowing resuming, we are working towards completing the Equitation elements of the tests. So celebrations in order soon.

But...

As some of you may know from posts on my other social media channels, I've sadly lost my gorgeous dancing partner, The Beautiful Skye, at the beginning of December 2019 due to a severe colic. I am missing her dearly, and although having left a big hole in my heart, she equally left a beautiful legacy...

A legacy of amazing memories, a journey of learning and growing together, of love, patience, perseverance, blood, sweat and tears - happy and sad ones - but most of all she left me with a heart full of gratitude. Gratitude for the privilege of having had her for 3 years in my life. I am blessed.

So when I had the pleasure of connecting with Lucy Mundy from www.ridersuccessacademy.com I was given the opportunity to record a podcast with her. While pondering on what best to talk about, I thought it would be a great tribute to Skye to share our journey. I hope that the podcast will be enjoyable, informative, encouraging and motivating as you go on your own adventures with your beloved equine partners.

To listen, please follow the link, and I'd love to know what you think. So please get in touch afterwards...

In the meantime, stay safe, stay blessed, stay well.
